I am way out of my BMI. According to the BMI calculator on the site I have a BMI of 27.8 (Male - height 1.80 - weight 90.1 kg's (now 88.4). My target weight loss is to hit 84 kg's. That will give me a BMI at 25.9. That is still classified as overweight on the BMI. At a push I might get down as low as 82 kg's but that would still be overweight according to the BMI. I would need to be below 79 kg's to be normal weight and that's not going to happen. I play a lot of ice hockey (2 hours 3 time per week) and run about 30 minutes a day to keep my cardio fitness up for ice hockey. I have well developed (and solid) leg, bum and calf muscles which might cover some of the difference. All my current weight is on my stomach (beer, wine and cheese). Once that's gone I do not intend to push on down just to hit the normal BMI but wondered if you might comment on the large difference between what should be my normal BMI and what I think should be a good weight range for me (82 - 84 kg's).
