Altogether I’ve lost 2st 10 lbs.
I didn’t like how I felt or looked, I kept putting more weight on.
I looked in the App Store for tracking calories - something I’d never thought about before. I liked the look of Nutracheck, and the reviews were great.
If I continued eating the way I was, I would have gone over 18 stone, and that scared me. So I’d say I would have put more and more weight on without the changes I’ve made.
Yes!! I always suffered with awful heartburn which was definitely down to a poor diet. I don’t get it anymore at all which is great. Also my ankles used to hurt a lot and that’s stopped.
I struggled at first but eventually got into a routine of tracking everything I consumed and started to enjoy it. I still have the odd day when I feel like eating anything and everything but I think of the positive changes I’ve made. There’s really no point going back to bad eating habits as I feel awful.
I’d have to say trying to be patient and sticking to the plan. I had some weeks when the weight went up a bit, but then the next week would drop a few pounds, so just trying to stay focused and learning about water weight and why your weight goes up and down throughout the week.
I feel so much more positive that I’ve actually stuck to it this time. I feel a lot fitter and have so much motivation, it’s great.
My aim was to get back to playing football with friends one night a week. I used to play a lot when I was younger, but my ankles were really bad before I lost the weight. Now I’ve been playing every Tuesday for the last two months, which makes me feel so happy.
