How much weight have you lost and how long did it take?

I have currently lost 8st 4lbs116lbs52.7kg in a year and a half. I'm still on my weight loss journey with a goal of 10st140lbs63.5kg - all the weight I've lost so far has been through using the Nutracheck app.

What prompted your decision to lose weight?

I had 4 kids in a short space of time and that made me put on weight drastically. This led to me being 20st 1lbs281lbs127.5kg. I felt so down about it and unconfident. My mental health was at an all-time low so I knew I had to make a change, not only for myself but for my children.

How did you hear about Nutracheck?

I heard about Nutracheck from my partner who had also started calorie counting back in 2023. He gave me the push I needed as I saw him losing weight.

Has your weight stayed fairly consistent over the years, or have you always had to manage it?

I've been battling with my weight ever since I was 18. I used to attend different weight loss groups and I tried different diets. Nothing had worked in the previous years for me.

Have you experienced any health improvements?

My breathing! I can now run up a hill with my children and go a lot further without losing my breath.

How easy was it to fit the changes you made into your lifestyle?

At first it was very hard. I would break down because all I wanted was to comfort eat, but the support system I had around me made it work. Now it's my normal day-to-day life and I know what not to eat. The app is so easy to use and it calculates everything for you. The barcode scanner is amazing which again makes it so easy to use and understand.

What was the most difficult thing about your weight-loss journey?

The most difficult thing was telling myself I couldn’t do it as I knew I had a very long journey ahead of me.

How do you feel now compared to before?

I feel amazing! I can breathe, run and I can do all the activities with my children that I couldn't do before! I can also now go into clothes shops and fit into everything, which I couldn't previously.

Any notable milestones to report?

When I reached my 3st42lbs19kg weight loss milestone I could see changes happening to my body.
